Michael Yarish is a clinical therapy aide working on his degree to become a doctor of physical therapy. He graduated from The College of New Jersey with a baccalaureate degree in health and exercise science and a minor in business management. While in undergraduate school Mike played for the school football team and worked in the exercise science lab where designed and implemented innovative hand rehabilitation techniques.
Mike has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings where he utilized his strength and conditioning knowledge, insight into musculoskeletal pathologies, and hands on skills to give patients the best recovery possible. He also has had experience working one-on-one in schools for children with learning disabilities. In 2015, Mike interned at The New York Giants Quest Diagnostics Training Center, where he worked closely with professional athletes, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
After being accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at West Coast University, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for physical rehabilitation. When Mike is not in the classroom or studying, he can be found hiking, at the gym, riding his motorcycle, or relaxing on the beach.
