Multiple Sclerosis (MS) an autoimmune disease in which small plaques or scars form on the nerves in the brain or spinal cord. The symptoms depend on the location of these scars and include numbness, tingling, muscle weakness, blurred vision. Muscle and nerve pain can also be a symptom. Fatigue and depression have been associated with the disorder. There is no cure for MS, however treatments can delay disease progression, minimize symptoms and speed recovery from a flare.
